John Adrian Loop, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2014. John was born on December 5, 1935 in Riverside to the late John C. and Irene D. Loop. John attended Brown Military Academy in San Diego, and graduated from Riverside Poly High School in 1955. He attended Utah State in Logan, and Mt. San Jacinto College. John served in the U.S. Army in Germany for two years, and then began his long career with the California Department of Forestry. John worked at various locations throughout Southern and Northern California, and retired in 1988 as a Fire Captain.
John is survived by his four children: John C. Loop, Debbie Harrington (Tom), Joan Warneke (Steve), Dave Loop (Luann), sister-in-law Marjorie Loop; four grandchildren: Marianne Chadwell , LTJG Steven Warneke, USN; Katie Loop and Karlie Loop. He also leaves four nieces, and two great-nieces, and one great nephew. He is preceded in death by his brother, Lt. Col James W. Loop, U.S. Army.

Services will be held at Faith Community Church, 375 N. Sanderson, Hemet, CA 92545, February 1st, 2014, at 1 PM. Burial will be private.
