A Memorial is set for Saturday August 8 2015 at the Big League Dreams located 20155 Viking way Redding CA 96003. Services will begin promptly at 10AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to two accounts in support of Jillian Brazeal and Their son Sylis.

On Sunday July 26th, 2015 the San Diego Unit lost one of there own. Ross Hafen II was leading his group of brothers from the oceanside chapter of Street Royalty MC on there monthly ride on Hwy 78 just outside of Ramona in San Diego county when he was involved in a traffic collision. Cal Fire units from Intermountain and Ramona responded. Due to the injuries sustained in the accident Ross passed away at the scene. Ross worked in the San Diego Unit just over a year. He transferred from LMU where he was a FFI. Ross was currently assigned to Pine Valley Station 44 as a FFIIPM. He had just been offered a perm spot in San Diego and was awaiting a date for the Academy in Ione. Ross’s father David Hafen Sr is a retired FC from CAL FIRE retired 6 months ago from Devils Garden camp. David Hafen Sr also worked at the Ione Academy and in the San Diego unit. Ross leaves behind his girlfriend Jillian Brazeal, there 3 year old son Sylis Hafen, Father and Step mother David and Stacey Hafen, Mother Carol Hafen. Ross was a great Father, son, Grandson, Mentor and also a leader in not only the fire service but to his Motorcycle club and will be missed by all. Services will be forthcoming in the next couple of days. The Family has asked in lieu of Flowers and cards that donations can be made to two accounts that we will post soon. One for his son Sylis and one for his girlfriend Jillian to help them in the coming months.
