David Lee Gonzales
1954 – 2015
David Lee Gonzales, a resident of Nice, lost his battle to cancer August 23, 2015, at the age of 61. He was born March 24, 1954, in San Francisco. He served and retired from California Department of Forestry. David enjoyed playing poker, boating on the lake and working outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Irene; daughters, Teresa, Rose, Gina, and Angel; grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriella, and Grant; his wife, Lourdes and brother, Ken. David is now at peace with his first wife, Shirley, father, Thomas, and brothers, Jim and Tom. Visitation will be at Chapel of the Lakes, 1625 N. High St., Lakeport, Thursday, August 27 from 3 – 6 p.m. Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 801 N. Main St., Lakeport, Friday, August 28 at noon. David will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lakeport.
