With 15 years under her belt with Cal Fire Riverside, Firefighter Sara Thomas is now battling a personal fight against cancer.
Diagnosed with cancer after the discovery of a tumor, the disease has now spread to her lungs and liver. The 41-year-old firefighter has opted to treat her cancer with alternative medicines that are not currently covered by insurance. Sara has twin 6 ½-year-old girls, Mira and Olivia, who will be rooting for their mom and their collective future.
