Retired HFEO Jim Draper passed away suddenly on July 31st, at the age of 84. He was a 35 year veteran with CDF, having split his time between the Santa Clara and Mendocino Ranger Units. Jim was a past president of the CDF Wagon Train. The sawmill at Parlin Fork Conservation Camp was built by Jim and is named after him in his honor.
