Subject: Passing of Retired FC Chuck Garton
I am saddened to report the passing of Retired Fresno – Kings Fire Captain Chuck Garton at the age of 74. Captain Garton was born June 27, 1943, and passed away on April 28, 2018, with all his family with him. He spent 37 years working in both the Fresno – Kings, and Tulare Units of CAL FIRE. In FKU he worked in the ECC, Schedule A and Prevention and Retired from Miramonte Camp in 2000. Chuck was also an Army veteran and served in the 82nd Airborne.
The date for a Celebration of Life is 1:00, May 20th at Dunlap Community Club.
