Everett James Lebow, 96, of Arroyo Grande, passed peacefully in his sleep on the morning of August 22, 2018, in Arroyo Grande after a brief, unexpected illness. He was born on May 18, 1922, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to James M. Lebow and Lulu Mae Voreis. Everett was a World War II veteran, charter member of the Elks Lodge of Oceano #2504, and worked many years for the California Division of Forestry. Everett is survived by his partner of 36 years, Carolyn “Sally” Kingsbury; his sister; nephew; stepchildren; and grandchildren. He was a good man that will leave an empty space in the hearts of everyone that knew him. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 25, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elks Lodge of Oceano #2504.
