Edward Kasmir Katri passed away on December 20, 2018 in Eureka, CA. Ed was born to Antone and Clelia Katri on July 16, 1937 in Eureka, CA. He lived in Humboldt County his whole life. His career consisted of farming, working in the woods, driving truck and operating heavy equipment. He served 2 years in the Army before his 30 years of state service with CalTrans and CDF. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary, and his two daughters, Kim and Cindy. He is also survived by his sister and brother, Kathy Machado (Rich) and Tom (Sandra), and many more relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 2 PM to 7 PM at Goble’s Mortuary in Fortuna with a rosary to follow. Funeral services will be the following day, December 28, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fortuna at 10 AM. Internment will follow at St. Bernard’s Mausoleum in Eureka.
