Pete Kelly Blakemore, age 59, of Yucaipa, California passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 in Yucaipa. Pete was born August 4, 1961 to Jodean B. Blakemore and James E. Blakemore Sr. Pete was a resident of Yucaipa for 16 years and previously lived in Redlands for 20 years. He was a Battalion Chief for Cal Fire. Pete enjoyed boating, golfing and dove hunting in his spare time. He was also awarded Firefighter of the Year.
Pete is survived by his wife, Pamela Blakemore of Yucaipa; son Austin J. Blakemore of Yucaipa; and daughter Jessica R. Blakemore of Yucaipa; sister Adrian Tomlinson of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, brother Bryon Blakemore of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and brother Kimberly Blakemore of Fallon, Nevada; brother James E. Blakemore Jr., of San Diego; daughter-in-law Hayley O’Neel of Redlands; and grandson Trace O’Neel of Redlands.
Pete was preceded in death by father James E. Blakemore Sr. and mother Jodean B. Blakemore.
A Celebration of Life service for Pete will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Wildwood Calvary Chapel, 35145 Oak Glen Rd, Yucaipa, CA.
