It saddens me to inform you of the death of Renny LeRoy.
Renny passed away peacefully yesterday, April 3, 2014, at their home in Selma, with his devoted and loving wife Loretta at his side.
Renny was a strong man, in many, many ways, when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about a year and a half ago. It is that strength that allowed him to survive this cancer this long.
When Renny died, he died a strong man. He was the best friend I ever had, and the nicest guy I ever knew.
If you knew who Renny was, then you will miss him as much as I will.
Renny began his career as a seasonal firefighter in the Fresno~Kings Ranger Unit on September 8, 1971 and retired on January 3, 2006 as an Assistant Chief at Baseline Camp with 33 years 10 months or as we like to say 35 fire seasons.
Services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1300 hours at University Vineyard Church 4910 N. Woodrow Avenue in Fresno 93726 with a reception at the church hall after the services.
