Retired FCB Steve Lloyd passed away

I am saddened to report the passing of Retired Fire Captain Steve Lloyd.

Steve passed away on May 26, 2014 after a tough battle with cancer. Steve retired last year from Alder Conservation Camp and had spent many years working in the Camp Program including Eel River and High Rock Camps, Steve leaves behind his wife Lynnette and three Sons, two who work for CAL FIRE as Firefighters.

Services will be held Thursday, June 5 at 1:00 pm at the Arcata First Baptist Church, 1700 Union St, Arcata, CA (707) 822-0367, then moving to Oceanview Cemetery for a graveside service in Eureka – 3975 Broadway Eureka.

There will be a reception following the services at 2146 Alder Canyon Court off Walnut Drive in Cutten.
The family requests uniforms for active employees.
